Genesis 6:1-4 summarizes the ways of life of the human beings living during the time of the pre-flood world. This is because during the time of the pre-flood world, there used to be long life spans of the human beings living in the human world during that time. Genesis 6:1-4 emphasizes that there was a lot of wickedness and wicked deeds happening all around the world when there were people multiplying through the process of marriage, consummation of marriage and reproduction after the consummation of marriage. The wickedness could be observed when there was the observance of intermarriage not between humans and humans but between the daughters of men of that time and the sons of God.
